This weekend we got away...and it was needed! We deceided to go up to the cabin in Donally and spend time in the snow...snow...snow!! We meet my parents up there on Friday and then Stephanie and Brian and kids came up too. We had so much fun. Saturday the kids could not 
wait to get out side and play in the snow. In fact it was so deep, that the cabin has a second story deck...well Ket jumped off the deck onto the snow. Then of course all the kids had to do it!! it was a nice soft landing. It was fun watching from down below. The hill down to the lake made the perfect sledding hill. I stayed inside becasue Kasen had just fallen asleep. But Stephanie was good enough to get some good pictures for me! Thank
s Steph! Later we went into McCall and got to see some of the ice scapltures. The theme was the wild, wild west. We really only got to see about two or three...we didn't want to walk all over with the kids...plus it was so cold. McCall does have a really good sledding hill too. So that is what we did most of the time. The kids had a blast. We had a blast watching them plow into other kids. Thanks Ket for that one! Yes my dear husband found it funny when the kids would run over or hit other kids going down the hill. I have to say that Kassia went down the 
hill twice, yes only TWICE and both times she ran right into someone. The problem is that Ket pushed her down the hill in a certain direction... Silly man. Poor Kassia, she is so sensitive, that she didn't want to go down any more. She didn't want to hit any one else! Jesiah on the other hand had a blast! (He didn't hit anyone.) Kasen liked being pulled on the sled, but 
I think he was a little cold.
On Sunday The kids got out again and played in the snow! Brian got his four wheeler and pulled them on the sled. Jesiah was so excited to drive the four wheeler. Kassia even had fun this time!! We had a good time up there. Our kids got along wonderful! Thank you to my grandparents for letting us go up there!

If you look really closely at this last picture then you can see how deep the snow is. The path behind them is from the garage to the back door. It is as tall as Jesiah is...maybe a little taller.

oh it does look really fun. that is awesome you have a cabin up there you can go to. I think a girls night would be a blast too. and we should for sure get the boys together soon. maybe Jesiah could get his long awaited play date.
